A Trip to Georgia
This past weekend we gathered up the family and made a special trip to Georgia to visit my cousin. Her baby girl, Ella, was turning one and we couldn't wait to celebrate with her! The last time we were able to see Elise and her husband was over a year ago and both of our babies were just little buns in the oven. It's been long over due, but we finally got to meet that precious girl and let our sweet babies play together. It was a lovely weekend that passed by way too quickly. Lucky for us, Elise and Ella will be coming to visit us in just two weeks! Can't wait!

Pink Icing!
Wonderful things are happing to the Lockavitch family this year. We will have two new additions to our family...one baby in September and another one in October. I couldn't be more excited to have two more babies to be an aunt to! Before I had my own child, my sister's children were basically my babies in my eyes. The idea that I get to help influence these children as they learn and grow is just a beautiful thing.
Up until this point we have only had sweet baby boys to bless our families. Now it's all about to change! Two baby girls are going to be taking over and we are over the moon excited! Frills, ruffles, and bows as far as the eye can see!
First my sister got the wonderful news and now my brother and sister-in-law revealed the joy at a gender reveal party last night. All the guests at the party were asked to cast their vote on the gender by wearing blue or pink. Me and Ramsey were team blue and Adam was team pink!

Surprise Anniversary Party
This past month was my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. My grandparents never seem to want to be in the forefront of a party, but when they casually announced that it was going to be their wedding anniversary, we decided to make the day all about them and their love. Sixty years of marriage is such an amazing testament to true commitment and we were honored to be able to plan a party for them.
Since I have been dying to put all of my mother's silver to good use, we decided to fill one long table with overflowing amounts of silver candlesticks, teapots, and platters. We also played with greenery by using balls of moss and succulents. We found out that a 60th anniversary is the diamond anniversary, so we included a little bit of sparkle around the silver. Underneath all of the decorations, was a silver and white open weave table runner. Since no party is complete without a few puffs, we hung white paper flower puffs from the crystal chandelier. To finish it all off, my amazing sister-in-law used her graphic design talent to whip us up some place cards.
The surprise went perfectly! My grandparents had no idea what they were walking into and were so excited to be the guests of honor. There was plenty of laughter, stories, and of course food. Our family couldn't have asked for a better Sunday to all gather together. My husband and I are coming up on only our second anniversary and we couldn't be more elated to see what our future could be. Lots of love and lots of family.

And of course it wouldn't be complete without a few pictures of mommy and baby playing!
